DESSERT SHOULD TASTE LIKE SOMETHING
FLAVOR-FIRST MACARONS & MERINGUES, MADE IN VERMONT

At Small Oven Pastries, everything starts with flavor.
Every macaron and meringue is built from real ingredients—local butter, real fruit, high-quality chocolate, and natural flavors that actually come through.
No shortcuts. No artificial fillers. Nothing you have to guess at.

Meet ElIZaBeTh
Small Oven Pastries is run by Elizabeth Berman, a Vermont-based baker with a background in food systems and a deep focus on flavor.
What started as a curiosity about technique became an obsession with getting it right—balancing flavor, refining process, and building desserts that actually deliver.
Everything is made in small batches, by hand, with a focus on craft and consistency.

How far in advance should I order?
For everyday orders, we recommend ordering a few days in advance when possible.
For events and custom orders, we typically require 2–3 weeks’ notice.
Do you deliver locally?
Yes.
Local delivery is available within Chittenden County in partnership with Myti.
We also offer pickup at Small Oven Pastries HQ in Shelburne.
Do you ship nationally?
Yes—we ship nationwide.
Flat-rate shipping is $8 for ground and $12 for priority. Orders over $75 ship free.
Where is my order?
For shipped orders, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order is on its way.
For local delivery, you’ll receive an email once your order has been picked up by Myti.
For local pickup, you’ll receive an email when your order is ready.
When will my order ship?
Orders ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid delays over the weekend and ensure they arrive as fresh as possible.
Will my macarons arrive safely?
We carefully package all orders to protect the shells and maintain quality during shipping.
Because macarons are delicate, minor imperfections can happen—but we pack every order with care to ensure it arrives in great condition.
What happens during warm weather shipping?
Macarons are sensitive to heat.
When temperatures are above 70°F, a $2.95 warm-weather handling fee is automatically added to include an ice pack and help protect your order in transit.
We strongly recommend selecting 2-Day or Priority Shipping during warmer months.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that shipping conditions are outside our control and that heat exposure during transit may affect the product.
Do you accept returns?
Because our products are perishable, all sales are final.
If something isn’t right with your order, email us at yum@smallovenpastries.com within 24 hours of delivery or pickup—we’ll do our best to make it right.
What if my package is delayed in transit?
Once an order has shipped, it is in the hands of the carrier and delays can occasionally happen.
We ship early in the week to reduce the risk of packages sitting over the weekend, but transit times are not guaranteed.
Do you guarantee delivery dates?
We do not guarantee delivery dates, as shipping timelines depend on the carrier.
If you need your order for a specific event, we recommend selecting expedited shipping and ordering in advance.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because we work in small batches, we may not be able to make changes once an order is in production.
If you need to request a change, reach out as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
