4" Tarts (6 tarts/$3.50 each)
Tart flavors change regularly based on season and ingredient availability. All of our tarts have an all-butter pâté sucrée (sweet dough) shell that serves as a base for a variety of fillings. Our tarts are scratch-made in Shelburne, VT, using the highest quality ingredients, with a focus on local and artisan producers.
Minimum Quantity: 6 tarts of any single flavor.
Our tart flavors fall into several general categories:
Frangipane (Almond Pastry Cream): seasonal fruit (e.g. sour cherries, plums, pears, raspberries) baked in almond pastry cream
Fresh Fruit: fresh seasonal berries atop crème diplomat (vanilla pastry cream)
Crisps & Crumbles: seasonal fruits (e.g. blueberries, strawberries, cherries, apples) with an oat crisp
or butter crumble
Curds & Creams: fruit-based creams and baked curd fillings, including lemon (Tarte au Citron), key lime, and passion fruit
Chocolate: chocolate ganache or chocolate pastry cream fillings, often accompanied by nuts, caramel or fresh seasonal fruits
